 Concert Organ International began in 1997 as a natural outgrowth of extensive concert travels by Australian organ virtuoso Thomas Heywood and his wife Simone.
Since 1994, Thomas Heywood has performed more organ concerts than any other Australian organist, playing solo concerts to thousands of people each year.
Thomas is the first Australian musician in history to ever make a professional living as a concert organist and he enjoys an outstanding international reputation as one of the world’s finest organ virtuosos.
Since 1992, Thomas Heywood’s concert appearances and commercial recordings have received unprecedented critical acclaim.
Thomas now books all of his concert engagements through the auspices of Concert Organ International.
From solo organ concerts on the largest pipe organ in New York City to a small one-manual 1876 ‘Father’ Willis organ on Norfolk Island in the South Pacific, no pipe organ is too large or small, old or new for Thomas Heywood!
The primary objective of Concert Organ International and Thomas Heywood is to develop the pipe organ’s public image as an exciting concert instrument.
In fulfilling this objective, Concert Organ International aims:

How Concert Organ International began Down Under!
Concert Organ International began in 1997 after Simone Heywood suggested that churches and other venues with pipe organs would benefit from hosting exciting organ concerts aimed at a wide cross-section of concert-goers.
As Simone and Thomas Heywood are based in the Australian State of Victoria, the business began as Victoria State Organ Concerts. The concept worked so successfully that an Australia-wide demand quickly became apparent and Organ Concerts Australia was born!
Now the business has developed into Concert Organ International covering not only management, but also recording, publishing, marketing and distribution.
