Thomas Heywood in Russia • 2012-2013

(DVD - PAL)

In December 2012 and January 2013, Thomas Heywood had a Solo Concert Tour of Russia from the Pacific Coast to Moscow - across nine time zones.

From Moscow to Archangel, and from the Ural Mountains to Siberia, Thomas entertained packed concert halls and was mobbed after every concert.

Thomas and Simone left Russia at the end of January 2013 when the temperature dropped to -45 degrees, and arrived home to Melbourne at +35 degrees – an 80 degree difference! However, the warmth of the audience reaction at the concerts and the hospitality they enjoyed more than made up for the freezing temperatures.

The Russian people live, eat and breathe music, art and poetry. Their intense emotional connection with live performances has to be experienced to be believed.

This Private Collection Limited Edition DVD gives you the chance to watch, hear and relive some of the highlights from Thomas Heywood's 2012-2013 Russian Solo Concert Tour, recorded live in venues from Siberia to Moscow.
